FAQ
Questions people actually ask before starting.
If your question is not here, write to s000karn@gmail.com.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. You complete the whole thing without paying. You only pay if you want the detailed report at the end. If you decide halfway through that it is not for you, you have lost nothing but time.
How is this different from free career quizzes online?
Three ways. The questions adapt based on your earlier answers, so the assessment narrows in on you rather than treating everyone identically. Scoring uses established frameworks rather than invented categories. And the report includes the downsides of every recommendation, with real Indian salary and cost data, instead of only the flattering parts.
Who sees my answers?
Only you, and the counsellor you speak to if you book a session. If an organisation bought your access code, they see aggregate patterns for the group and never your individual responses. We do not sell data.
Can these assessments diagnose a condition?
No. Nothing online can. Only a qualified professional in conversation with you can diagnose anything, and our wellbeing check-in says so repeatedly. What it can do is describe patterns and tell you when talking to someone would help.
What if I do not agree with my result?
That is useful information. The report explains its reasoning, so you can see which answers drove which conclusion. If something feels wrong, it usually points at a question you answered aspirationally rather than honestly — which is worth noticing in itself.
Can I take an assessment more than once?
Yes, though it is worth waiting a few months. Retaking it a week later mostly measures your mood rather than a change in who you are.
How long does a report stay available?
Indefinitely, at a permanent link. It is also emailed to you, and you can print it to PDF from the report page.
Do I need to book a session?
No. Many people read the report and are done. The session exists for when you want to pressure-test the report against your real circumstances.
What payment methods work?
UPI, credit and debit cards, netbanking and wallets, processed by Cashfree. We never see your card details.
I have an access code. Where do I enter it?
At the end of the assessment, on the same screen as the payment option. Codes are case-insensitive.
Is this therapy?
No. Assessments and guidance sessions are not a substitute for clinical treatment. If what you are dealing with needs clinical care, our counsellors will tell you directly and help you find the right professional.
What if I am in crisis right now?
Please do not wait for an appointment. Tele-MANAS on 14416 is free and available 24×7. CHILDLINE on 1098 is free for anyone under 18. In an emergency, call 112.
